Sarah Thompson is a London-based Vinyasa Flow Yoga teacher who first discovered the benefits of yoga over fifteen years ago whilst studying modern languages at Oxford University. Through regular practice, Sarah found that her yoga helped manage stress and maintain mental balance, whilst also providing physical conditioning and flexibility and enhancing her sense of well-being.
A teacher since 2007, Sarah’s own sadhana has led her to a deep exploration of yogic traditions, specifically the bhakti (devotional) path. Sarah is forever grateful to all her teachers Lara Baumann, Claire Missingham, Shiva Rea and Stewart Gilchrist for their support and encouragement and is passionate about passing on the teachings of yoga to others in a relevant, experiential and accessible way.
It is Sarah’s intention to offer dynamic, challenging and transformational classes, which both ignite and stoke the inner fire and explore the interplay between form and flow. Sarah currently teaches for Europe’s leading yoga centre, Triyoga (www.triyoga.co.uk) and leads teacher trainings and retreats in the UK and internationally. She has worked with international yoga and music festival Bhaktifest (www.bhaktifest.com) since 2010.
